Hi About 2 months a go i installed a 'show desktop' icon on to my laptop as i believed at the time my laptop did not have this function, however it actually does!

But i don't know how now to uninstall the download and i can't recall how i installed it in the first place!

The icon is in my folders in 'USERS>MyName>Desktop'. I'm running Windows 7.

Advice appreciated. Thanks

What happens if you right-click on the icon and then choose Delete?

Yes good point, forgot to mention that.. the icon does indeed delete but the text 'Show Desktop' remains.

Can you not highlight the text and then click on Delete again?

Or browse to the folder mentioned above and do the same from within that folder.

In fact, can you not browse to that folder and delete it?

browsed the folder and can delete the icon, text still shows. no you can't right click and delete the text. if you right click the text you can open folder called 'show desktop' - i just tried deleting that but the text still shows.
