query unknown .exe file

On bootup I got a message about running lsmon.exe As I did not recognise the file I didn't run it and a search found it in C:\Docs & Settings/Application Data/Memory Resources. Can anyone tell me what this is please? Should I get rid of it? How would I do that? I wondered whether it had anything to do with Java Update. A virus check brought up nothing untoward. Thanks
