my webcam is not working

I have purchase Logitech HD c270 webcam. This webcam requires 1 GHz but my system is 890 GHz. It is installed on my computer but not fully and it is not working on skype as well. Please guide my how i can resolve this problem. Thanks

This webcam requires 1 GHz but my system is 890 MHz.

If so, I don't think you will get your camera working on that PC - its simply too slow to cope with the data generated by the webcam.

My system Detail: Processor: AMD Duron(tm) Processor, MMX, 3DNow, ~890MHz Memory: 768MB RAM BIOS: Version 1.00 OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

Webcam software is installed on my machine, but when i try to use it, my system restart.
