Problem with todays W7 updates and cookies

Todays W7 updates seem to break IE9 (for me at least) when you go to delete the browsing history. Thereafter no login info is retained when IE9 is closed and reopened. It's as if all cookies and data are wiped. All settings are correct... this is something I have done countless times.

By using an Acronis image I can determine the problem occurs when the cummulative update KB2722913 is applied. Uninstall the update and the issue resolves.

Anyone else had this ?

mooly - Just for your info. - Just checked - I have that update installed - everything working IE9 - although I am a Firefox user.

Thanks northumbria61

Seems its a small minority of set ups affected... trouble is mines as standard as it gets and hasn't seen reg cleaners or anything dubious like that.

MS are on the case though as it seems others have reported the same issue. I'll update this if I find out anything more.
