msiexec.exe error when installing and application

Hi all,

I am trying to install Sage on a windows xp machine which is joined to a domain and logged in as domain admin. However the installation keeps failing with the following msiexec.exe error.

**runtime error Program; c:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe r6034 an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the applications support team for more information.**

I contacted Sage who said its an issue with msiexec. I have done all the usual to try and repair msiexec but i keep getting this error.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
