Hi,I decided to sort out my C drive,So this is what I did.Moved all my Documents to an external hdd,Also moved my Pictures,& video's. My music is on another internal drive. My total documents came to 40GB.My Pictures Came to 37.1GB.My Video's came to 8.36GB Totaling to 85.46GB I transfered them into their proper folders,Docs > Dodcs,Pic >Pic.Etc. Now went to look at my C drive and it was showing a lot more than I had.I know the windows takes so many GB's also program files,But this amount was way out.I have a 500GB hdd and at the end of all this drastic work it shows that there is only 180GB's free. That dont tally up in my mathematics so I installed the 'Treesize free' so I could see what was going on. But not very techy I dont quite understand the end product of the treesize software. Can someone please assist me with this problem. Running windows 7.I'm the only user. Find the image of the treesize to see hoping that I can have help to get this out of my head.half way through the operation we had a power cut that didn't help the situation Many thanks in advance. Expand users as that is where all the space is being used according to your image of Tree size.

Your image shows Users, the first in the Tree size list as using most of your HDD space so have look at what is in there. Start Tree size then click on the arrow beside Users post the image here.

Well you sort of did it but I am trying to see what is taking up the space and as you can now see it is the Windows 7 folder so we need to have a look there.
I have just install Tree Size free so I can see what you are seeing. My image.
