Workgroup access denied permissions

I am having issues setting up a workgroup. The workgroup with 2 Epos tills and a PC (the back office) has sequential IP addresses, the same subnet mask and shared C drives. They are all running on XP Home. The Epos tills can see each other and they can see the PC but are denied access to it with a message about permissions. I can’t recall having to assign permissions when setting up a workgroup before or am I barking up the wrong tree? Also the PC cannot see the Epos tills. Any suggestions?

I think this may be a Firewall problem. If you are running a 3rd party firewall try disabling it and your system will then revert to your Windows firewall.
