Hi again, after my computer has been on for a short, it starts to get noisier and noisier.Help please. David

Any chance of a clue as to where these noises may be coming from. You could,if you so wished, remove the side from your PC, and see if you can hear or at least identify where the ever noisier sounds are coming from.

It could be a wayward hard-drive or fan either case or on top of your processor.

But it is tricky suggesting a solution to your problem without a little more detail as to where the problem is.

As Chronus has said, it is most likely the Fan - perhaps it is being overworked - how long since the interior of the PC was cleaned out to get rid of all dust/dirt/fluff. You would be surprised what a difference a few minutes cleaning can make.

Sometimes the little screws (usually two on each side of the metal 'bay') that secure the hard-drive(s), can work loose and cause a vibrational metallic noise.
