My Computer keeps bleeping on Boot up

When I boot my Wimdows XP computer,at POST, all I get is Constant long bleeps, can anyone point me in the direction of the possible problem?

Use the link provided by buteman to determin the cause depending on the type of BIOS your machine has.

Its most likely to be RAM (memory), removal and refitting may solve the problem or one of the memory sticks may have failed.

It could be any number of things including RAM but it could just as well be a motherboard,graphic card or no power or even keyboard.

You definitely need to listen for and take note of the beeps.
