fanshaw2 , I apologise for digressing on your thread. Best info up to now is to start afresh with Chrome with the latest version or just wait until Google decides to do something about it. Most browsers go through a bad patch and Chrome is no exception by the looks of it.

Appreciate a laugh, but the more I look at this prob, (750 complaints on a site that a complaint to Chrome directed me to), looks like a patch is needed.

fanshaw2 Absolutely. You have two choices. Wait for a patch or completely uninstall Chrome, including all folders associated with it. Reinstall Chrome or go back to FF or IE9, which is the best browser if you use Windows, in my most humble opinion.
