Firefox Add-ons Manager tab always open

Windows 7

Firefox 13.0.1

For the last few days, each time I open Firefox, in addition to my home page being opened, the Firefox Add-ons Manager is tabbed automatically. As I browse, the Add-ons manager is repeatedly tabbed, and I often wind up with four or five Add-ons Manager tabs. It is becoming very annoying.

How can I stop this from happening?

I had to remove Firefox and download it again and still had 2 versions of Firefox running in Task Manager.I removed the one that should not have been there and it is now working properly.

Worth a look see I suppose.

It sounds as if your Home Page may have been set to include multiple pages. Try going into Tools - Options - and pasting the Home Page you want Firefox to open in to see if this resolves the problem.
