HP PSC 1410 printing problem

Even after cleaning and replacing cartridges, sections(but not all)of the text in word docs are horizontally strafed. When I copy the strafed section onto wordpad and print, it is still strafed even using the "professional print" option. Apart from dumping the printer, any ideas?

It does appear to be either a faulty cartridge or a blocked nozzle and I can only suggest that you keep repeating the Cleaning process - You could check to see if there is no paper blocking the feed mechanism - even the tiniest piece could cause something like that. There is nothing wrong with your printer.
