joint editing of spreadsheet online

hi i need to be able to edit a spreadsheet online at the same time as a co worker. is this possible? if so how can we do this hopefully for free.

I don't think so we used to have some excel sheets on the company network and while they could be viewed by multiple users it could only be edited by whoever was first in the queue. I think they had to transfer the data to an access database to get round the problem.

When I Googled this it first came up with this link which seems to have been modified by Microsoft into Office 365 a web based version of Office. This might solve your problem.
