Why can I not network Windows 7 files

Hi I recently did put a new hard drive on my W7 pc. My other Vista machine happily networked before. Now I get a lock icon on all files and the Vista pc is denied entry to W7 on everything except public folder. I have tried all the web solutions but the lock icon appears against the 'share' option and I cannot remove greyed out read only.

If you reinstalled Windows in the new drive you may need to take ownership of the folders before being able to share them again. Also check the permissions for access to the folders/files.
