spam from yahoo - iphone

hi all,

I have a yahoo account that keeps sending spam to loads of my contacts.

I only access and use this yahoo account on my iphone, it is unlikely that my iphone has an infection so how else could my yahoo account be sending out spam?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

It is possible that either someone has hacked into your account and accessed your address book or they are spoof headers looking as if they come from your account. In either case I suggest that you change the password as soon as possible.
