Desktop shortcuts have stopped working

My desktop shortcuts have suddenly stopped working. Whether I right click or left click, there is no response. Anyone else had this, or know how to fix it? Using Windows 7 Home Premium.

You could try downloading the free versions of either Advanced System Care or Toolwiz Care from perhaps http://www.majorgeeks.com and see if those program 'shortcut fixer' resolves the issues.

You could also try CCleaner and run that programs registry cleaner, and see if that picks anything up.

All the above suggestions are not guaranteed a fix, but they might help?.
