Mmmm... Tried suggestions. No luck so far. Suggestions seem to relate to Outlook startup probs. It starts OK but when it gets to receiving messages, that's when it colapses.

Various solutions on getting that message when receiving mail Here seems either an addin or msmapi32.dll file needs to be replaced. Suggest you read the full page and see if anything there will work for you.

If you have the Office program that installed Outlook (Microsoft Outlook disk 1), youi could put that in the drive and when it starts up select the repair option.

The Email storage has a finate space, is his /her email box full?

If you want to keep Email and treat it as a normal document, do the following:

Open up Outlook and reduce it in size to half a page. Create a folder on the desktop.Highjlight the emails you want to keep and Drag & Drop to the new folder. You now have a permanent copy of your emails and you can safely delete from the outlook folder.

Click on the saved Email and it will open with the outlook program, even when the outlook program is not active or online.

What ISP are they using i.e. Virgin- BT or ??.

Terry
