connect external audio to two devices

Hello everyone, I have external sound system connected to my Pc via normal green jack plug. Would like to also connect it to a TV without having to keep moving the cable. Think I need a splitter or switch of some kind, can anyone help on this please.

thanks fruitbat, that is the sort of thing I need but it is the wrong gender ie the impu plug to the audio is male. If it just splices the two cables together I can get around this with a few adapters but if it has a diode will not work. Sorry but I am a bit ignorant on this stuff so any help is appreciated
