slideshow query

On my old pc which ran Vista when i watched a slideshow in Windows Photo Gallery it would include videos in with the photos. This was a great feature when watching a holiday slideshow, to see your photos and videos together in order.

My new pc, which now runs Windows 7 does not seem to do this. A slideshow only shows the photos. I have searched in vain to find a reason why the slideshow in 7 will not show videos as it did in vista.

Is there a setting somewhere to enable this feature?
