DX8450 "Printer error"

On switching on my Epson DX8450, its small screen displays: "Error. A printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer, then press On button to turn on. See your documentation." I do what it says, but keep getting the same result. I can find nothing in the user guide to help with this problem. Any suggestions?

Just solved the problem: A small paper tissue had fallen into and jammed the paper feed. I removed it, and now everything is OK again!!
