Has Chrome lost its way? My copy (with Windows 7) does not now remember passwords and log ins, at least not as well as it used to. I'm considering switching back to Firefox. Has anyone any comments please?

Yes Woolwell (and hello again). Under Tools/Clear Browsing Data I have NOT ticked "clear saved passwords" or "clear Autofill data". The other four items ARE ticked; have I got the wrong settings?

I don't know if Ccleaner supports Chrome but do you run that?

Cookies are often used for log ins and as you are clearing them then the log in data is removed.

Comment from my bank (Nationwide) when I asked them about this problem they said don't use bookmarks to access their website but type in their URL afresh each time... Not yet sure if that helps
