Windows updates keep returning

I've installed the latest monthly Windows updates (May 22nd 2012)three times. Each time it states that they are installed, but when I boot up again they've come back!! Can anyone help?

Evening vulcan, probably excessive demand?? Just trying to download from the Update page.

I think I've got it! Downloaded from the update page, then when I turned off I got the on-screen message about..."Turn off now to install updates". Seems done.
