Dvr problem.

Hi, i am trying to connect a usb harddrive to a dvr home security system. It won't see the hard drove. It will recognise a usb key but i would like to use the bigger hard drive. Is there a way of making the hard drive behave like a usb stick and if so how.

I would think that will depend on the software for the dvr home security system, it might only recognise up to a certain size and file system (FAT 32?) have you checked in the manual.
