Budget gaming laptop?

Hi,

I am looking to buy a new laptop. At the moment I have an Acer aspire 5715z, its 4 years old and starting to blue screen. I am looking to buy a laptop that will allow me to play some games, like WOW and Skyrim, but nothing too intense. I am a student so I have a budget of around £500. Any idea's? Thank you! Elise

The spec on that does seem quite dated.

But it may just be bunged up with fluff in the vents (vacuum and blow with compressed air)

Or need a restore to Factory settings (with hours of updates and setting up again).

My point is, it can still have a life.

I can't advise on a new one, others will, but the Acer could be a spare, or for re-sale.
