HP Pavilion 'Low Disk space' on D Drive (Recovery)?

Hi, My gf's Pavilion laptop is saying that she has low disk space on her D Drive that is her HP Recovery partition. It is 9.47GB but only has 32mb free. Please can someone tell me why this is filling up as she never stores anything (knowingly) on there?

Sounds as if a backup utility is backing up to the D drive. Have a look here.

Have a look in the partition and see what else is there. ClickHere for same prob and it was Norton Folder at fault.
