Outlook Express to OUtlook on differnt pcs

I am trying to solve this remotely for my mother in law. I have just bought her a new laptop with Windows 7 Home and she has an old laptop running XP. She wants to get her contacts etc from Outlook Express onto her new laptop and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this. Thanks

Will you be talking her through it over the telephone?

Does she have a usb flash drive stick?

Yes I will and yes she does.

I can also use remote assistance on her new laptop if that helps.

Does she have Office Excel on both laptops?

If so then here is how to do it

copy your Outlook Express address book to another computer using an universally readable CSV file

Import Contacts from Excel or a CSV File into Outlook
