NETGEAR router

I have a Netgear Router Dual Band running at 5GB. My USB Adapter is only a 150 single band. I wonder if I update the Adapter would my internet connection be more stable & faster.

Also would I be better buying a 300 USB or would a 600 USB Dual band be better or would it be a waste of money.

What sort of signal is your USB adapter currently picking up? If it's a half decent signal then upgrading it will make no difference to your internet speed as it's the internet connection itself that is usually the limiting factor.
