Loading pictures from computer to i pad

How do I transfer a my pictures to my i pad, I have them in my computer and also on a pin.

There is only one available slot on the i pad, which nothing seems to fit. Logrin

With the iPad2 you can sync wirelessly as well as by USB.

You can also get an iPad camera connection kit which allows you to connect the camera by USB or insert an SD card. The iPad then imports the pictures.

Alternatively you can use something like Dropbox.

The iPad does not read USB sticks - I tried!

BTW if you get the hdmi connector for the iPad and connect it to a TV then the TV displays a mirror image of the iPad. I have found this to be a really good way of showing photos.
