I have a dell studio laptop where I watch many videos on U Tube. I have tried to connect my laptop to my sony Bravis tv via a HDMI cable without success. The TV just says 'out of range' & displays nothing, can anybody help please....Alan

On my TV I have to select the input (HDMI).
