Vlingo voice talk

My Samsung Galaxy s2 keeps talking to me! Eg it tells me who I have got a text from and tells me to wake up when alarm is set and I don't want it to talk to me! It is embarrassing to have the voice when it is silent and still comes on even when my phone is on silent. I am not sure why it has started doing this. I am wondering if it the Vlingo Voice Talk that I installed. I cannot uninstall it though. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

KirstyK, it appears that Vlingo is pre-installed on the GalaxyS2. I did a quick search under 'uninstall vlingo voice talk' using Bing. This thread response might be of help http://blog.vlingo.com/voice-talk-intomobile/

If it doesn't, you could check out other search responses using wording more suitable to the problem.

All the best as I too hate 'things' talking to me!!
