Am trying to install Java. But part way through the installation I get an error message: Error 1723-There is a problem with this Window Installer package. ADLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." I have Windows 7 Home Oremium 32 bit installed. Have done a system restore but still same problem. Any help much appreciated.

Corrupt older version may be. Use JavaRa to remove older versions. Reboot then try downloading the latest version.

If you go to the Verify Java page it will automatically search for your latest version.

Which part or parts of Java are you trying to install? Don't install V.7, that's an early release for developers, stick to V.6.
