Office 2010 Download Software

I am thinking of updating from Office 2003 and see that there are a number of vendors who offer download only software for very much reduced prices. Has anyone had experience of this method of getting software and what are the pitfalls? One vendor mswares2010.co.uk offers Office 2010 Professional for £68.77 and an assurance that all the product codes are genuine. This appears to be too good to be true (and maybe it is!) but they only give an e-mail contact no postal address. I'm suspicious but with so many offering downloads at prices below the normal retail price would like to save a bit of money! Any comments?

You can download any version of MS Office 2010 free of charge from Microsoft as a trial version which you then apply a licence key to.

Given that the correct price for a licence key to use Office Pro, as an upgrade, is around £200+ I think you probably can make an educated guess at the answer to your query;-)

You may well get a licence key with it, if you are lucky, but how long will it last? Most of them have been harvested from 'enterprise' versions used by large organisations and fail after a few weeks.

Microsoft was stopping Software for Students on the 31 of march of this year but still see it advertised in software for students.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. Interesting to note that there appear to be a number of "just started" vendors of Office 2010 with no feedback. Where and how do they get their merchandise at apparently low prices? The answer might be in the product code and its validity period unknown to the buyer. You can't be too careful!
