Slow screen response from keyboard

when typing on threads, particularly this site.

Sometimes I have to wait for what seems an eternity to let the screen catch up with my typing.

Is this normal?

It is fine for general use, such as Word. It is a wired HP keyboard that came with the Desktop 2 yrs ago,

Thanks in advance.

Does the problem only occur when using the PCA site? If yes, then try running Safe Mode to see if one of your add-ons is causing the problem.

Try this - Control Panel - Ease of Access Center - Make the Keyboard Easier to Use - Set up Filter keys and Click the Turn on Filter keys Check box. Click Apply - OK

This can happen with a slow internet connection or the server on which the site is hosted is slow responding. It normally clears itself.

Thank you all, done the checks and it looks likely it is the slow internet connection.

Will test it when I get my dongle back, it is quicker than the land line, no matter who the provider.
