usb not recognised

hi when i plug in a usb lead to upload photos , its showing usb device not found and showing code 45...not had any problems until 4 days ago..nothing has been deleted to my knowledge any help or advice greatly recieved.. thanks

Remove all USB devices

Download and run USB device View

Uninstall ALL devices that are shown as not connected.

Reboot the machine.

Plug in your USB device and windows should then find new hardware and reinstall the drivers for the device.
