I have had several versions of Ashampoo Win Optimizer although I tend not to use them too frequently. I currently have Win Opt.v 8 installed but the 2012 you are referring to is V.9 which I have recently downloaded on a 40 day free trial and running alongside v.8

Like all Ashampoo products (and I have several) I find them very easy to use, all are offered on free trial and when purchased come at a reasonable cost followed by loads of special offers for upgrades.

I can't find anything bad about it - try it for free and decide for yourself.
