In Vista to copy desktop, press prt sec button & copy it into paint no bother, how do you do it in Windows 7 I have tried without success.

I agree with robinofloxley re snipping tool,which I find more flexible than print screen.. I have it in my task bar as sometimes you only want part of a screen, and the snip can be opened in an appropriate format - word or a photo software.

Thank you - I do a fair few print screens and had completely forgotten about the snipping tool - but it now resides on task bar too!
