Microsoft office Home & Student

I bought the above office and installed it on my Laptop and on my Tower as you can with the 3 licences. In the past I have replaced Windows 7 home and then put the Office 2010 Home & Student on it again. I have also Re-installed the HP 3 disk Recovery on the tower, and on trying to put Office H&S on it, I find that it will not take the last of the 25 product key numbers. I have tried three times now, what is wrong?

The licence is for 3 computers and I only have 2 and that is all I want to use it on.

when you enter the licence key you do Not need any spaces or- only the actual key

Yes I just put in the numbers and letters no spaces or minus signs added. It got to 24 and would not let me go any further.
