Hello
I am anewbie when it comes to audio recording.
I just received a microphone on eBay, iy has a insgle lead with the pink jack plug at the end.
I plugged it into the pink socket on the back of my PC.
I opened sound recorder and clicked record...no joy, didn't record anything.
Went into audio in the control panel, microphoe was disabled, clcked enable and tried again...still no joy.
And this is when I turned to you.
Any suggestions please?
I have an working sound device, all my sounds play fine.
I am running Win XP SP3
Thank you
Richard

Check to see if mic is muted or the volume was reduced in windows volume control panel. It may be that you have a faulty mic. Are you able to try it on another computer to eliminate that?
