Skype Show mobile number

Hi I want to show my mobile number when sending SMS With Skype.

I have tried the following.

In Skype for Windows go to Tools > Options > IM & SMS > SMS Settings, click the link Verify your mobile phone number and then follow the steps described.

There is no SMS settings or verify button? only a setting to let me choose anyone or my contacts.

Skype 5.8 OS7

Have you selected the option on the left for SMS Settings and bought "Skype Credit to send SMS to mobile phone"?

mgmc I have plenty of credit. I have just signed in again and I still cant my number to show. I click on the send message button, then on the name and I am asked if I want to show my number, click yes, new page opens with the show my number grayed out and the only choice is my Skyp name. Explorer9 I will try on FF and Chrome see what happens but appreciate your help.

OK got it after siging in its on the next page but takes 24 hours before its activated.
