Run Laptop CD from DOS command

I am trying to run the Toshiba drive utilities and unlike Hitachi one it does not boot from CD it says it can be run from Boot CD. What is the command to make the CD drive run?

once the boot Cd has started

you just need to ru the program from hat drive

ie cd d:

changes to d drive (DVD drive)

cd again into folder where utility is stored i.e. cd diskutility

then type name of program i.e. diskcheck.exe

you could try it in one go

d:\diskutility\diskcheck.exe

may work
