Copying MS Pub Colors

Why do font colors change when I copy from one MS Publisher 2010 file to another? Can I stop this?

By default when you paste MS Publisher uses the destinations formatting. Use Paste Special instead (edit menu dropdown) and this should keep the original formatting.

I only have Publisher 2007. It would appear that you need Paste Options - which gives you the options to retain the original formatting or the the destination formatting see Pasting text
