Excel cell combination

I need to join the contents of two cells together. Cell one has the First Name and the next one the Surname. I need to end up with the First Name and the Surname in the the one cell in order to export the file of names into another application. Merging two cells only keeps the first bit of data.

Vog where are you please? Should be able to automate with a macro but don't see how to do it.
