Hello my good friend just rang me with a problem with her andriod tablet.

She's just purchased this adroid tablethttp://www.amazon.co.uk/MiniGadget-MG638-Google-Android-Tablet/dp/B005ERD1MS/ref=sr11?ie=UTF8&qid=1330257143&sr=8-1

It works with no problems, but when she goes to the wireless settings and keys in her password, she said the connect button is GREYED OUT, so she cannot connect to the internet with it, but the cancel button is not greyed out,.....any suggestions please,..she purchased this for basic wireless usage in her flat along with her laptop. Her laptop is fine

Has she definitely entered sufficient characters for the Password? WPA/WPA2 requires a minimum of 8 characters and the "Connect" button isn't active until at least 8 characters have been entered.

The number of characters for WEP is more complicated:

32-bit WEP uses 5 ASCII or 10 Hexadecimal characters.

64-bit WEP uses 13 ASCII or 26 Hexadecimal characters.

Some WEP devices don't like an ASCII key and a Hex key must be used. Post back if you need further help.
