install shield by acresso software in start up help please

Hi I have just noticed this entry has added itsself to my start up- Install Shield\Acersso Software Inc c\windows installer I dont recall installing this programme,any ideas where its from as its not from microsoft i dont think. windows vista home premium 32 bit hp cq60

delete from start up and run a scan with your antivirus and antimalware

HI i unchecked it in msconfig start up and am running a scan,does anyone know this prog or where it came from thanks fruit bat for the quick reply as i am worried about where it came from if not from ms,thanks again

ok thanks again fruit bat i will keep looking and post back if i find what it is ,as i said i unticked it in msconfig start up tab and avg found nothing,i am going to do a malwarebytes scan now,will post results back.cheers
