I cannot connect to my netgear router on my laptop. It has the strongest signal on wireless networks found. I can connect to btfon on it and to neatgear on my other pc's. I have checked the ip address and released and renewed it. No change. I have checked my network properties and the internet protocol tcp/ip is set to automatic. Running widows 7.

Mac filtering set on your router? This will stop the router connecting to other machines
Disable MAc filtering on the netgear connect your laptop then enter the laptops mac address in the router and switch mac filtering back on
