No audio in My Pics/Videos

Not sure when this occurred as I usually watch all my videos in Picasa or Picasa web. If I go to my pictures folder and select a .mov video clip taken on my Kodak there is no audio. If I play the same file in Picasa 3 there is audio. Surely the destination/source file is the same?

I have checked all audio settings and ' Media Info' shows the audio stream as ADPCM.

Videos from my Fuji camera are all OK which are AVI files.

Would appreciate any suggestions as to the cause. Thanks.

Just made a new clip and exported to Picasa. Sound is there, but not in my pics. The files are mpeg4.

Now opening with Quicktime everywhere.
