old router to new p.c

Hi,

Just checking here to see if i use my old netgear DG834G modem/router which have only been using for wirelss up to now to a new desktop p.c which is not installed yet with any internet connections - will i just be able to plug in the ethernet cable to the p.c and get the same connection on wired as on wireless?

Or do i need to factory reset it to connect to the p.c by hardwire and start again?

*not wanting the p.c on wirelss just wired.

Thanks

Sorry for interruption, just connect via Ethernet cable as you router is already set-up.
