How can I make a batch file run at startup? I am trying to make myself do a backup whether I remember or not. ernieernie

Write your .bat file and stick it in Startup folder (XP is different from Vista/7 location)
Stick a Pause at end of .bat, otherwise it will just open and close quickly. You can't see if it works.
Delete the pause when you are happy. You may need to Run as Administrator in Properties.

I put mine in Scheduled Tasks (under Accessories\System Tools in XP), so it runs at same time every day.
