Windows 7 folder options

How can I stop windows 7 automatically filing new files alphabetically? XP always used to show new imports at the end of the files, so that I knew where they were to enable me to move them appropriately. I now have to remember the file name to be able to find new documents or photos, and am losing stuff, because I can't remember what it was called!

View menu\Sort by.

Change the default from Name.

Click on more for a multitude of options
