lost music files

this afternoon i was busy playing about with a usb stick and half way through transferring audio files i realised that was not what i wanted so in my ignorance tried to copy back to pc with the result that it would appear i have lost all my music, have i had it or does some guru have an answer ( it would appear that original music file was overwritten) system restore did not correct XP pro sp3

RECUVAIf a search for Music dont find them try recuva its free you must extract to a different drive

it found lots of stuff but no music so it looks as if i am stuffed but thanks anyway
